Sunday, 7 February-5th Sunday After Epiphany

Sooo…the weather forcasters are predicting a ginormous snow storm to hit the area this weekend. We here at Deer Creek Charge are hoping that we are still able to come together to worship on Sunday and that you will join us! Services will be held if at all possible. Members and regular attendees will receive notification of cancellations through the established phone trees. Visitors can check this website for updates.

The sermon for Sunday, entitled “Going Deep: Net Worth,” focuses on Isaiah’s call story (Isa. 6:1-13) and Jesus calling the first disciples in Luke 5. The choir has an anthem for us and the joy of worshipping our Lord and Savior will be real! We will also join together with our Sisters and Brothers around the world and around God’s Table as we participate in the sacrament of Holy Communion.

If services are cancelled, a bulletin will be posted here by Sunday morning so that we can all join together in worshipping in Spirit. We encourage you to read/reflect upon the Scripture passages for the week.

We have a LOT of activities and announcements right now! Here’s some that are copied and pasted from this week’s bulletin 🙂 Please join us for any or all of the events! You are more than welcome…this is God’s House!

Wanted! If you have palms from last year’s palm Sunday that you would like to have burned for Ash Wednesday this year, please bring them to church NEXT SUNDAY
