Christmas Eve Worship

Hi there! Welcome to the Deer Creek Charge blog. Thanks for stopping by…we hope you will be back again soon! If you are looking  for a place to worship on Christmas Eve, we would be honored if you would join us. Our service will begin at 7pm at Deer Creek United Methodist Church, 2729 Chestnut Hill Rd., Forest Hill, MD 21050. Directions can be found on our Contact Us page.

The service will be traditional in style, but contemporary and relevent in its message. This candlelight service will be family-friendly and children are invited to participate as they are able. A children’s message and children’s bulletins will be provided during the service, and we will sing some songs that the children may know, like “Away in a Manger.” There will be two separate choirs and a soloist providing music as well. The sermon is titled, “The Littlest Jinglebell” and will be based on Isaiah 9:2-7 and the familiar story from Luke 2:1-20.

We hope that you will join us to experience a “Country Christmas.” You are always welcome here…this is God’s home. If you are looking for a church home, we would be honored if you would give us a try. May God bless you and your faith journey! Merry Christmas and blessings in 2011 from the Deer Creek Charge!
