A Seedy Place (Sunday, 25 March 2012)

Thanks for check out the Deer Creek Charge! We are so glad you are here! This week, we are taking a look at John 12:20-26, and focusing on what it means to “be a seed”–to die unto yourself so that God and Christ can live in your more. We’re looking to make our church a “seedy place” where God and Christ reign more and more in our lives each and every day! Come join us on this journey…we’re not experts, but we promise to walk side-by-side as we explore life and faith together.

This Sunday, at Deer Creek, we are also presenting Bibles to some of our children and youth who need them. It will be a great time! Also…don’t forget, it is “casual Sunday” at Deer Creek…come in your “cleaning” or “yard work” clothes and stay after church to help us spruce up the building before Easter! This is an “all hands on deck” time…there is a job for EVERYONE! No experience necessary, will train. Please bring cleaning supplies if you have them. Thanks!

Holy Week and Easter worship schedules are posted here (you can also get to it from the homepage).

We hope to see you soon!

Worship Fun Fact! The Great Three Days (AKA Triduum or Pasch), which runs from sunset on Holy Thursday through sunset on Easter Day, is the climax of Lent and the whole Christian year. They bridge us into the Easter Season. During this time, we journey with Jesus through his last meal, arrest, death, and resurrection. Join us for this journey—it’s the holiest time of the year! Children are welcome & encouraged to attend.
