F2F, IRL (Sunday, 15 April 2012)

Thanks for stopping by the virtual presence of the Deer Creek Charge! We hope to see you F2F, IRL (Face-to-face, In Real Life) too! You are always welcome! This week’s message is talking about “face-to-face” community vs. “virtual” community. Which did Jesus use? Why? How can we do the same thing in our communities today? We’ll also be talking about how we all have questions about our faith and how we struggle to find answers, just like Thomas. We all want to know what everyone else seems to know. We want answers to our deepest, darkest questions. While I can’t promise you answers, I can promise you a safe place to come and explore your questions. Come join us, F2F, IRL this Sunday, and see what Christian community is all about. We don’t have it “right,” but we are trying. Will you try with us?

(P.S. Check out John 20:19-31 if you get the chance…)

Worship Fun Fact! Easter is a season that lasts for 50 days. During this season, lessons from the Book of Acts replace readings from the Old Testament because the early church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is the best witness to the Resurrection.
