Do Not Fear, Only Believe

This week is a busy one for the Deer Creek Charge! We welcome our new pastor, Shannon Sullivan, who will give a message based on Mark 5: 21-43, in which Jesus heals a woman who has bled for twelve years, and he brings a twelve-year-old girl back to life. It is a story about courage in the face of fear, particularly in the face of fears over transitions. We will be celebrating Holy Communion together and worship will be followed by a potluck! Come hungry!

We also give thanks Pastor Bonnie McCubbin’s service to our charge, and we pray for her and her congregations as she begins her appointment to the Patapsco-Lodge Forest Cooperative Parish.
