Transfiguration Sunday!

Join us this Sunday to celebrate the Transfiguration!

Luke 9: 28-34, by Chris Cook, a Southern Artist

Transfiguration Sunday is a Sunday like Pentecost that is an important church celebration we often overlook because there is no secular holiday accompanying it and because it is a difficult story to understand. Yet it is an important day because the core question for today leads us into Lent, the Christian season that begins this Wednesday with Ash Wednesday.

We give thanks for the presence of Clark’s Chapel UMC’s dance ministry with us today! What a blessing! Praise be for the New Creation Praise Dancers!
